Cudham Church of England Primary School

A Warm Welcome to Cudham Church of England Primary School

"Together, we Aim, Believe and Achieve"

Cudham Church of England Primary School is a small, village school set in a semi-rural location, surrounded by the beautiful Kent countryside. Our school has a rich and diverse history through which we bring learning to life for our children. It was founded as a National School in 1851 by a local group including Charles Darwin and the Earl of Stanhope. In fact the site of our Forest school was originally used by Charles Darwin for some of his ecological studies.

Our children are happy, confident and have a thirst for learning. Uniquely, our pupils are taught by PE and Music specialists in all year groups and in Key Stage 2, by English and Maths subject specialists. Our wonderful staff share their passion for their subjects with our children, inspiring and encouraging each and every child to fulfil their true potential in all that they do.

Our Vision “Together, we Aim, Believe and Achieve” is underpinned by our core intent: we do all we can to ensure the success of our pupils academically, spiritually and morally.  We celebrate individuals, embrace differences and welcome staff and children of all cultures and of all religions (or none) as part of our inclusive culture. Children flourish within our nurturing Christian family and each child is valued, supported and challenged in order that they thrive and succeed.

Cudham’s amazing outdoor facilities enhance the children’s learning. We have a large Forest School, extensive fields, woodland areas, quiet garden, ponds and a large adventure playground, as well as fitness equipment on our playground. Such an enriching environment ensures that we provide a stimulating and engaging curriculum and that our children enjoy being active and enthusiastic learners.

We are proud to be part of the Aquinas Multi-Academy family of Trust schools; with whom we closely work. Our pupils take part in a wide program of additional opportunities, often held in our Aquinas schools within Bromley. Through this collaboration, coupled with our outdoor learning and wide range of clubs, our children’s’ horizons are broadened and their studies extended.

Please explore our website as it will give you a flavour of what makes Cudham a great school. I also recommend that you visit us, so that you can see our children and wider ‘Cudham family’ in action. If you have any questions, do please email them to:

I look forward to meeting you in person.
